What do you do in Furcadia?

The two main things people do on Furcadia are socialize and roleplay. You are not required to be "in character" except in areas that are designated as roleplaying-only areas. There are three basic types of play:

• OOC (Out Of Character): In this style, you are just being yourself, and there are no real restrictions.
• Persona Play: Here, you play in-character casually, but you can also feel free to go OOC. This style is very freeform; there is no serious storyline or rules you must follow.
• IC (In Character): In this mode, you roleplay a character and you stick to his/her personality at all times (or nearly so). You play under a set of certain rules and follow a storyline. There are different levels of being IC (the official rules and such are listed on Talzhemir's page) and different sets of rules, depending on who you play with. Please see the section about Your Character for more information on roleplaying.
